The UniFi Cloud Gateway Max is a small desktop gateway that also runs the UniFi application suite, aimed at small offices, shops and branch sites. It has five 2.5 GbE ports with up to four usable as WAN, and the vendor rates IDS/IPS throughput at 2.3 Gbps. A selectable NVMe SSD of up to 2 TB lets it act as a UniFi Protect recorder. It supports Network, Protect, Access, Talk and Connect, manages 30 or more UniFi devices and serves 300 or more simultaneous users. It is powered from a USB-C adapter and draws up to 16.1 W.
