The FortiGate 900G is a 1 RU next-generation firewall for large enterprise networks and data-centre perimeters. It lists 164 Gbps of firewall throughput, 42 Gbps of IPS throughput and 30 Gbps with Threat Protection enabled, supporting 28 million concurrent sessions. Four 25GE SFP28 ultra-low-latency slots sit alongside 10GE SFP+, Gigabit SFP and 16 Gigabit copper ports. Hot-swappable redundant power supplies are fitted, with DC-powered variants available for racks that use DC power. FortiOS provides SD-WAN, SSL inspection and segmentation across the Fortinet Security Fabric. The FG-901G variant adds two 480 GB SSDs.
