The FortiGate 200G is a 1 RU next-generation firewall for enterprise campuses and larger branch headquarters. The datasheet lists 9 Gbps of IPS throughput, 7 Gbps of NGFW throughput and 6 Gbps with Threat Protection enabled, supporting up to 11 million concurrent sessions. Its interface mix includes eight multi-gigabit 5/2.5GE copper ports, eight Gigabit copper ports, four SFP slots and eight SFP/SFP+ FortiLink slots that connect FortiSwitch access switches. Dual built-in AC power supplies give 1+1 redundancy. It runs FortiOS with SD-WAN and SSL inspection. The FG-201G variant adds a 480 GB SSD for local logging.
