1U 25GbE campus gateway for wireless, SD-WAN and VPN concentration

The HPE Aruba Networking 9240 is part of the 9200 Series campus gateways for medium and large enterprises. It is a 1U rack-mounted gateway with four ports including 25GbE and acts as a wireless gateway, SD-WAN device or VPN concentrator for remote workers. Starting at 20 Gbps and 512 access points, capacity can be raised with software licences to 2,048 access points and 32,000 devices. It supports clustering, live upgrades and zero-touch provisioning. Vodatel Jordan, an authorised HPE Aruba Networking partner, supplies and configures it.

The FortiGate 70G is a compact next-generation firewall for small offices and branch sites. It combines firewall, IPS, application control and SD-WAN on Fortinet's SP5 security processor and runs FortiOS, so the same policies and security services used on larger FortiGate models apply at the edge of a branch. A fanless desktop chassis makes it suitable for shops, clinics and small offices without a server room. PoE variants can power a phone or access point directly, and the built-in wireless controller manages FortiAP access points. The datasheet lists up to 10 Gbps of firewall throughput and 1.3 Gbps with Threat Protection enabled.

Palo Alto Networks PA-520
The Palo Alto Networks PA-520 is a compact desktop next-generation firewall in the PA-500 Series, aimed at branch offices, retail sites and small to midsize organisations. It runs PAN-OS and identifies applications, users and content on every port, with post-quantum cryptography support on PAN-OS 12.x. The PA-520 offers eight 1G copper ports, 120 GB of storage and a TPM for secure boot, and can be managed centrally with Strata Cloud Manager or deployed with zero touch provisioning. Cloud-delivered security services such as Advanced Threat Prevention and Advanced URL Filtering are available as subscriptions.

Sophos XGS 138
The Sophos XGS 138 is the largest of the 2nd Gen XGS desktop firewalls, built for branch offices and mid-sized sites that need more inspection headroom than the smaller desktop models. It keeps a dual-processor design with a dedicated Xstream Flow processor, and adds two 10 GE SFP+ fibre ports, four GE copper ports and two 2.5 GE PoE ports for powering access points or cameras. An expansion bay accepts an optional 5G module, and a second power supply and rackmount kit are available. It runs Sophos Firewall and can be managed from Sophos Central. Vodatel Jordan supplies, configures and supports the XGS 138 as an authorised Sophos partner.
