Sophos XGS 138

Desktop firewall with 10 GE SFP+, PoE ports and 5G option for branch offices

The Sophos XGS 138 is the largest of the 2nd Gen XGS desktop firewalls, built for branch offices and mid-sized sites that need more inspection headroom than the smaller desktop models. It keeps a dual-processor design with a dedicated Xstream Flow processor, and adds two 10 GE SFP+ fibre ports, four GE copper ports and two 2.5 GE PoE ports for powering access points or cameras. An expansion bay accepts an optional 5G module, and a second power supply and rackmount kit are available. It runs Sophos Firewall and can be managed from Sophos Central. Vodatel Jordan supplies, configures and supports the XGS 138 as an authorised Sophos partner.

It uses a streamlined single-CPU architecture with virtual FastPath acceleration and needs Sophos Firewall OS v21 or later. Nine 2.5 GE copper ports and one SFP slot give flexible connectivity, an expansion bay takes an optional 5G module, and the XGS 128w variant adds built-in Wi-Fi 6. It runs Sophos Firewall with TLS inspection, IPS and VPN, and is managed locally or from Sophos Central. Vodatel Jordan is an authorised Sophos partner and supplies, installs and supports the XGS 118 in Jordan.

Sophos XGS 3300
The Sophos XGS 3300 is a 1U rackmount firewall for mid-sized organisations and distributed edge sites. Fixed ports are eight GE copper, two SFP and two 10 GE SFP+, and one Flexi Port slot accepts modules such as copper, fibre, 10 GE or PoE, up to 20 ports in total. It includes a bypass port pair for resilience and an optional external second power supply. It runs Sophos Firewall with Xstream TLS inspection and can be managed from Sophos Central. Vodatel Jordan supplies and supports the XGS 3300 as an authorised Sophos partner.

The Sophos XGS 4300 is a high-performance 1U firewall for large branches, campuses and data-centre edges. Fixed ports are four GE and four 2.5 GE copper plus four 10 GE SFP+, with two Flexi Port slots expanding to 28 ports and two bypass pairs. It ships with sliding rails and offers 23 Gbps NGFW throughput. It runs Sophos Firewall and is managed locally or from Sophos Central. Vodatel Jordan, an authorised Sophos partner, supplies the XGS 4300 and supports it from Amman across Jordan, the Levant and the Gulf.
