It combines an AMD Ryzen V1780B processor, ECC memory, built-in 10GbE and redundant power supplies, and a PCIe slot allows 10GbE or 25GbE upgrades. One RX1225RP expansion unit raises the total to 28 bays. Synology High Availability lets two identical units run as an active/passive pair, and DSM provides snapshots, replication and virtualisation support.
