It uses an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with ECC memory and four 1GbE ports with link aggregation, and a PCIe Gen3 slot accepts 10GbE or 25GbE adapters. An RX426 expansion unit doubles capacity to eight bays. The RS826RP+ variant adds redundant power. DSM supplies shared storage, snapshots, Active Backup for Business, Synology Drive and High Availability pairing.
