The Toughbook 40 is a fully rugged 14-inch laptop from Panasonic Connect and the most modular model in the Toughbook range. It is built for utilities, defence, public safety, oil and gas and heavy field service. A magnesium-alloy chassis is rated IP66 and MIL-STD-810H with 180 cm drop resistance and an operating range of -29 to 63 C. Intel Core Ultra vPro processors with an NPU, up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and optional discrete AMD graphics handle demanding workloads. The 14-inch Full HD touchscreen reaches 1,200 cd/m2 and works with gloves and in rain. Seven expansion areas, hot-swappable batteries, optional 4G/5G and Microsoft Secured-core security let it be tailored to each deployment.
