The ASI6214S-PW is a standalone face recognition access controller from Dahua with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and a dual-lens 2 MP camera. It recognises faces in about 0.2 seconds with liveness detection, and also accepts fingerprints, IC and DESFire EV3 cards and passwords. It stores 6,000 faces, 6,000 fingerprints, 10,000 cards and 300,000 records, and supports video intercom, time attendance and on-screen advertisement playback. With IP65, an operating range of -30 to +60 C, PoE and Wi-Fi, it can be mounted on a wall, an 86 box or a turnstile, indoors or outdoors. It suits office entrances, factories, schools, clinics and residential buildings, and has Wiegand, RS-485 with OSDP, relay, door sensor and exit button connections.

A 1/2.8-inch 2 MP camera with 120 dB WDR and auto IR gives a wide 110 degree view of visitors, and two-way audio with echo suppression lets residents talk to them from indoor monitors or the smartphone app. Visitors press a mechanical call button; residents can unlock the door by IC card (up to 3,000 cards), from the app or from an indoor monitor.
