Veeam Agents bring Veeam backup to machines that are not virtual: physical servers, workstations and cloud instances. The family covers Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac, IBM AIX and Oracle Solaris. Agents can be deployed and managed centrally from the Veeam Backup & Replication console, or run standalone and send backups to a Backup & Replication repository, NAS or external drive. Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows supports image-based backup of the whole machine or selected volumes, files and folders, with bare-metal restore, file-level restore, direct restore to Azure and AWS, and bootable recovery media. It suits Jordanian organisations with physical database servers, branch servers and critical laptops that need image-level protection alongside their virtual estate.
