LoRa wireless node that links up to 4 wired AKCP sensors to one radio, range up to 3 km
The sensorProbe+ Wireless Tunnel (SP-WT) is a battery or USB-powered LoRa node that lets up to 4 wired AKCP intelligent sensors share a single radio, so monitoring can reach areas where running network cable is impractical. It communicates with AKCP's proprietary Wireless Tunnel protocol, with guaranteed message delivery, over distances of up to 3 km in open space. Data goes to a Wireless Tunnel Server (SP-WTS), which can collect from up to 30 SP-WT devices, or 120 sensors in total. Power comes from 3 AAA batteries or a 5 V DC USB input, and an optional external battery pack extends life to as much as 10 years.
