Expansion unit adding 8 RJ-45 sensor ports to securityProbe and sensorProbe base units, up to 300 m away
The E-Sensor8 is an expansion unit that adds eight RJ-45 intelligent sensor ports to AKCP securityProbe, sensorProbeX+ and sensorProbe2+E base units. It connects to a base unit's expansion port with standard CAT5 LAN cable, and further units can be daisy-chained through the E-In and E-Out ports, with up to 300 m between units. Any AKCP intelligent sensor can be plugged in, and 16 front-panel LEDs show the status and online state of every port. A securityProbe5ES can reach 500 sensors this way, and a sensorProbe+ 150 sensors with up to 4 expansion units. It is supplied as a 1U rack unit, with a DIN rail version also available.
