Expansion board adding 16 opto-isolated dry contact inputs, up to 300 m from the base unit
The AKCP E-Opto16 is an expansion module that adds 16 opto-isolated dry contact inputs to a sensorProbe+ or securityProbe 5E base unit. Each 2-wire input accepts equipment that outputs a signal or voltage, such as the outputs of an alarm panel, so those events can feed AKCP's built-in notification system. It connects to an expansion port with a standard CAT5 LAN cable, can be daisy-chained with other E-modules, and can sit up to 300 m from the base unit, which saves cabling. The inputs tolerate up to 50 V DC and 80 mA. The unit is 1U rack-mountable with brackets included. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
