Point water-leak sensor that also detects distilled water, powered by the sensorProbe+ base unit
The AKCP Spot Water Sensor detects water at a specific point and reports a wet or dry state to a compatible AKCP base unit. Its microprocessor-controlled capacitance technology lets it detect distilled water, which resistance-type sensors miss. The circuit is encased in epoxy so the sensor can stay submerged. Typical uses are under raised floors in data centres, drip trays below HVAC units and plant or equipment rooms. It plugs into an RJ-45 sensor port, draws power from the sensorProbe+ base unit and can be placed up to 150 m (500 ft) away on CAT5/6 cable. An optional stand raises the detection point by 12 mm or 24 mm. Vodatel supplies and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
