Eight configurable dry contacts on a single sensor port, each usable as input or output
The AKCP IO-Digital8 Sensor adds 8 dry contacts to a securityProbe 5E or sensorProbe+ through a single RJ-45 sensor port, each reporting an Alarm or Normal status. Every contact can be set in software as an input or as an output of 0 V DC or 5 V DC, so one port can watch UPS status, security systems, alarm panels or air-conditioning status. The housing mounts on a wall near the alarm panel or on a DIN rail with clips, and a standard CAT5 cable connects it to the base unit, which also powers it. Alerts go out as SNMP traps, e-mail, SMS and other notifications. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
