General-purpose dry contact I/O that links alarm panels and third-party equipment to the base unit
The AKCP Dry Contact Sensor connects burglar alarms, fire alarms and other third-party equipment to a sensorProbe+ base unit. Its pin works as an input that reads an open or closed switch, or as an output of 0 V (Low) or 5 V (High) chosen in software, so it can watch UPS status, security systems, air-conditioning conditions, door and window contacts or water incursion. Input switches latch a critical state until it is read via SNMP, so no event is missed. It plugs into one RJ-45 sensor port, is powered by the base unit and can be extended up to 305 m. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
