Clamps to the negative battery terminal for temperature readings from -55 °C to +75 °C
The AKCP Battery Terminal Temperature Sensor (BTTS) connects directly to the negative battery terminal, the closest thermal connection to the battery's internal plates, to give readings that follow the real battery temperature. Its sensor chip is insulated against ambient temperature swings. It measures from -55 °C to +75 °C with 0.1 °C resolution on sensorProbe+ and securityProbe units, is powered by the base unit and can sit up to 300 m away on suitable cable.
