Photoelectric smoke detector with 85 dB alarm, backup battery and network alerts
The AKCP Smoke Detector is a photoelectric detector that turns smoke detection into a network-monitored alarm. It reports Smoke or No Smoke to a sensorProbe+ or securityProbe base unit through an RJ-45 sensor port, and can also connect to a fire alarm panel at the same time. A disconnect alarm checks the cable, and an internal battery keeps it working as a stand-alone detector if the link is lost. The unit sounds an 85 dB alarm at 3 m, has a test button and strobe light, and suits ceiling installation to BS 5839 Part 6 Grade F. Cable runs reach 150 m.
