Monitors battery voltage, terminal temperature and current load for generators, UPS and solar systems
The AKCP Battery Health Sensor (BATTMON) tracks the condition of a single cell or a bank of batteries, and of DC power systems such as solar panel arrays. It combines a DC voltage meter with a battery terminal temperature probe and an external current transformer, so you can follow charge and discharge behaviour, spot a weak generator starter battery or check how well a solar array is performing. Voltage is measured over three configurable ranges up to 60 V DC, and the current transformer is sized when the sensor is ordered. It plugs into a sensorProbe+ unit over a single RJ-45 port.
