Non-invasive rack current monitoring on multi-core cables up to 32 A, no wire cutting or electrician
The AKCP Contactless Current Meter (CCM) measures current in 2-core or 3-core power cables up to 32 A by sensing the magnetic field around the cable, so the cable never has to be split and no electrician or downtime is needed. It gives rack-level current readings for capacity planning, warns when a load approaches its breaker trip point and supplies input for PUE calculations. Accuracy is ±5% on a factory-calibrated cable of the same type and ±10% on other cables. It plugs into an RJ-45 sensor port of an AKCP base unit, is powered by the base unit and clips on the cable.
