Split-core current transformers that clamp onto live cables or bus bars without interrupting supply

AKCP Current Transformers are split-core clamps that fit around a cable or bus bar without opening the circuit, so power monitoring can be added without any supply interruption. The wide inner window takes large cables and bus bars, and the range covers many sizes for existing installations. Current-output models cover a primary current of 100 A to 5000 A with a 5 A or 1 A secondary and connect to the AKCP Current Transformer Power Meter on securityProbe and sensorProbe+ platforms; voltage-output models give a 0–5 V DC signal for the A2D input. Typical uses are metering, overload and ground-fault sensing and building management. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports them in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
