Pre-wired temperature strings show intake, exhaust and front-to-rear ∆T for every IT rack

The AKCP Cabinet Thermal Map Sensor shows how well an IT rack is being cooled. Each string carries three temperature sensors and one humidity sensor, placed at the top, middle and bottom of the cabinet. The single-string THMS-V2 covers the front only, while the dual-string CTHMS-V2 combines front and rear strings on one sensor port and adds the ∆T between them, helping to find hotspots and over-cooled areas. It connects to sensorProbe+ base units, can be extended up to 18 m, and up to 16 thermal maps can run on a single SPX+. Threshold alerts go out by email, SMS and SNMP traps, and the data feeds sensorCFD in Quicklime DCIM. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
