The SmartSource Expert Elite is Digital Check's high-speed, high-capacity teller scanner for branches that need to work over a network. A button sequence called SimpleSwitch lets it change between USB and network operation, so the same scanner can move with an IT environment. The control logic and SecureLink 2.0 API sit inside the device, so it can be driven from nearly any device with a web browser, including thin clients and virtual branch setups. It scans up to 170 documents per minute over USB, captures ID cards from a front-feed slot, and prints up to four lines on the rear endorser. It has a 100-item input hopper and a 150-item exit pocket, with an optional ReceiptNOW Elite receipt printer.

The CheXpress CX35 is Digital Check's current single-feed scanner for remote deposit capture, succeeding the CX30 in the best-selling CheXpress line. It reads MICR (E13B and CMC7, auto-detecting) with supplemental OCR verification and captures colour images with dual 600 dpi contact image sensors. The SmartSource Pro Elite is Digital Check's multi-feed teller scanner for high-volume cheque operations, with rated speeds of 75 or 170 documents per minute. It combines a MICR reader with 600 dpi image cameras, built-in double-document detection, easy-access covers and user-replaceable parts, in a compact body that draws about 25 W while running. A front-feed slot captures ID cards in colour, and an automated cleaning mode with a Smart LED indicator keeps the paper path clean. A 4-line inkjet endorser is available, along with a UV model for the international market. It uses the SmartPVA API on Windows and is intended for branches and cheque-processing desks. The network-ready version is the Expert Elite.

The SmartSource Expert Micro Elite is a very small single-feed scanner for remote deposit capture that includes embedded network technology. It can connect by USB today and move to Ethernet over USB or standard Ethernet later with the Smart button, which Digital Check calls SimpleSwitch. It has a standard single-line inkjet endorser, a 600 dpi colour image sensor, automated cleaning mode, ID card capture and a Smart LED status button, all in a footprint of about 7 by 5 inches. The SecureLink 2.0 API makes it operating-system independent over Ethernet. It draws 18 W while running and suits corporate customers, branches and offices that deposit cheques at their desks.
