Rope-type fuel leak detector for tanks and generators, locates a leak within 1 m (1 ft)

The AKCP Rope Fuel Sensor (ropeFuel) is a rope-type leak detector that senses liquid hydrocarbon fuels at any point along its length and reports Wet or Dry to the base unit. It can pinpoint a leak to within 1 m (1 ft) and detects gasoline, diesel #1, Jet A/B/5/8, JP-4/5/7 and kerosene. Laid beneath fuel tanks, it suits generator sites and fuel transfer stations. The sensing rope can be ordered from 1 m up to 5 m, and the sensor connects to any sensorProbe+ or securityProbe sensor port with up to 30 m (100 ft) of CAT5/6 cable. It is normally single-use and must be replaced after exposure to fuel. Vodatel supplies and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
