Key switch that silences all notifications during maintenance, auto-sensed as a dry contact
The AKCP probeSwitch is a key-operated switch that lets a maintenance engineer turn off all notifications from an AKCP base unit with one turn of the key, then switch them back on when the work is done, so there is no need to log in to the web interface. It connects to a sensor port, is auto-sensed as a dry contact and reports Alarm or Normal, with LEDs for connection and status. The sensor is powered by the base unit and can be run up to 1000 ft (305 m) away on suitable cable. AKCP lists it as supported on the securityProbe series.
