Adapters that bring existing J or K type thermocouples onto sensorProbe+ and securityProbe units
The AKCP J & K Thermocouple Adapters let you connect an AKCP thermocouple, or an existing third-party thermocouple of industry-standard J or K type, to a sensorProbe+ or securityProbe base unit. The adapter turns the thermocouple into a network-enabled temperature sensor that can be monitored remotely and send alerts by email, SNMP and SMS when thresholds are exceeded. Thermocouples suit extreme temperatures in industrial, cryogenic and chemical applications. A K type reads -200 °C to +900 °C and a J type -40 °C to +750 °C. The adapter plugs into an RJ-45 sensor port, is powered by the base unit and works up to 30 m (100 ft) away. Vodatel supplies and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
