Connects third-party 0–10 V DC analogue sensors or 5 V dry-contact devices to an AKCP sensor port
The AKCP Sensor Adapter (SEN-A) lets a base unit read third-party sensors that AKCP does not make. A selectable input, with autosense, accepts analogue sensors that output 0–10 V DC, or a dry contact input/output that keeps a 5 V DC supply on the connected device at all times. A 3-pin Phoenix connector carries signal or dry contact, 5 V and GND, and the adapter can supply up to 5 V, 0.2 A to power the external device. It plugs into an RJ-45 intelligent sensor port, is powered by the base unit and works up to 15 m (50 ft) away on CAT5/6 cable.
