Turns the RJ-45 MOD/EXP port into a 3-pin terminal block for 2-wire RS-485 Modbus cabling
The AKCP Modbus to SNMP Adapter (MOD-A) makes it easier to wire Modbus appliances to the RS-485 Modbus and expansion port of a sensorProbeX+ or sensorProbe2+. It converts the RJ-45 MOD/EXP port into a 3-pin Phoenix terminal block (A+, B+, GND), so a 2-wire serial bus cable can be connected directly. The adapter draws no power, has no galvanic isolation and can be extended up to 550 m (1800 ft) from the base unit on standard CAT5/6 LAN cable. It mounts on a DIN rail or with screws and works from -35 °C to 80 °C. Vodatel supplies and supports it in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
