The AKCP securityProbe 5E (SEC5E) is a Linux-based base unit that combines environmental, access control and security monitoring. It has 8 AutoSense RJ-45 sensor ports and, with E-Sensor8 and E-Opto16 expansion modules, supports up to 500 sensors. Four analogue BNC video inputs let it show pictures from up to four cameras at up to 640×480, and its Modbus support creates a Modbus-to-SNMP gateway. Alerts go out by e-mail, SMS/MMS and SNMP traps, and a built-in web interface provides graphing and configuration. A 1U rack-mount design with brackets included makes it suited to server rooms and data centres. Vodatel supplies, installs and supports the securityProbe 5E in Jordan as an authorised AKCP partner.
