Weatherproof contactless EM card reader with Wiegand 26 bits output and 5–10 cm read range
The AKCP RFID Card Reader is a compact, weatherproof, contactless reader for EM cards, built for fast integration with AKCP's access control system and central monitoring software. It reads cards at 5–10 cm with a response time under 0.2 seconds and sends the card data over a Wiegand 26 bits output, which can run up to 3 to 5 metres from the controller. A two-colour LED and a speaker signal each read on entry and exit. It works from 9–16 V DC and operates from -25 °C to 75 °C.
