The Avaya J179 is an eight-line IP phone for users who rely on directory access and speed dials during the day. A 3.5-inch colour display, four softkeys and eight dual-LED buttons keep common tasks one touch away, and 96 buttons can be reached by paging. Wideband audio covers the handset, headset and full-duplex speakerphone. Gigabit Ethernet with a PC port, PoE Class 1 operation with sleep mode, up to three expansion modules and an optional wireless module make it a flexible desk phone for Avaya Aura and Avaya IP Office, including home offices.
