The Avaya J129 is an entry-level SIP desk phone for lobbies, waiting areas, break rooms, hallways, retail spaces and office cubicles, where users need reliable basic voice calling. It is a one-line phone that can handle two concurrent calls, with a 128 x 32 monochrome display, three context-sensitive soft keys, a full-duplex speakerphone and a handset with built-in volume boost for hearing-impaired users. Dual 10/100 Ethernet ports let a PC share the same network connection, and Power over Ethernet (802.3af, Class 1) avoids a separate power cable. It supports TLS and SRTP encryption, works natively with Avaya IP Office and with Avaya Aura, and sits on a two-position stand or mounts on the wall.
