The Avaya Room System C170 is a 4K video conferencing codec with an integrated PTZ camera for meeting rooms. It uses H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 to deliver 4K and 1080p video at lower bandwidth, supports SIP and H.323, and offers an optional embedded MCU for up to nine participants without a central meeting server. The 8.51-megapixel camera has 12x optical zoom and AI tracking. Two HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs support dual-screen layouts, digital, USB and analogue microphones can be connected, and FEC keeps calls stable on lossy networks. H.235, SRTP and AES-128 secure the call.
