The Palo Alto Networks PA-7500 is a modular chassis next-generation firewall for service providers, hyperscale data centres and large enterprise perimeters. Built from network processing cards, data processing cards, a management card and switch fabric cards, it scales to 1,500 Gbps of App-ID firewall throughput and 440 million concurrent sessions in a full configuration, with a single PA-7500-DPC-A card providing 310 Gbps. Each network card offers 400G QSFP-DD and SFP-DD ports, and the chassis supports N+M redundant power supplies and NEBS-compliant noise levels.

The PA-52R-5G runs PAN-OS with App-ID, SD-WAN and Layer 2 switching, and supports 5G-native security.
