Zebra MC9400

Ultra-rugged gun-style Android mobile computer with long-range scanning and Wi-Fi 6E

The MC9400 is Zebra's gun-style rugged mobile computer for warehouses, distribution centres, cold stores and yards, announced in 2024. It runs Android on a Qualcomm 4490 octa-core processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and connects over Wi-Fi 6E; the sister MC9450 adds 5G. The 4.3-inch display is paired with a choice of replaceable backlit keypads, so teams can match the layout to their application, including terminal emulation. Scanning uses the SE58 extended-range engine with IntelliFocus, which reads from close up to far-off pallet labels. A 7000 mAh battery, IP65/IP68 sealing and a 3.65 m drop rating make it suitable for hard daily use, with a freezer version for cold environments.
